the press in Italy is a typical expression of the
present policy of the parties, and of the government
in which they cooperate. The present slavery of the
conservative journalism reflects exactly the
political slavery of the people, prisoners of a
minority.
8- NO LIBERTY OF POLITICAL ORGANIZATION
Still less exists the liberty of political
organization because the closed monopoly of legislative
and governmental responsibility on which there
is no public control, has rendered practically
impossible any political activity by anyone who cannot
express himself either through the press or through
parties which do not collaborate with the communists.
9 - THREAT OF PROLETARIAN DICTATORSHIP.
Besides, and this is more serious, the diffused
certainty that the proletarian dictatorship is near
to realization with the arrival of the Russian troops
in the Adriatic because there will be solidarity of
the Anglo-Saxons, even of unwillingly, for the
triumph of Russian ideology arriving armed. These
doubts have created in the majority of the Italians
fear, it is necessary to say, fear of Communism in
Italy. Many aim to keep friendly with the Communists
being persuade that they are to become the masters
of our country. Through this preventive submission
of the conservative part of the population towards
the communists there have ardsen two consequences: -
