      penetrated inland. Two enemy bombers destroyed. A single enemy 
      aircraft dropped l0 bombs in a district of Coventry without causing 
      casualties.
 
      Night of October 19th/20th. Activity began at dusk and for the 
      first Four hours was abnormally heavy.
 
      
 
 
It then continued on a larger scale than usual until 2 p.m. 
      and afterwards single aircraft arrived over London every 20 minutes. 
      Other attacks were made upon Liverpool, Manchester, and the Coventry 
      districts. In the London area persistent attacks were made on 
      the docks whore one serious Fire was caused. Two gas-works were 
      hit and set on fire but both fires are under control. In Poplar 
      district some Diesel oil tanks were hit and some oil lost. Euston 
      Station was hit and a Fire, which has now been put out, caused 
      in the Central Hall. Damage was caused by bombs at three hospitals 
      and some interruption to road and suburban rail services resulted 
      from enemy bombing.
 
      
 
 
Outside London, Coventry was persistently attacked and slight 
      damage was caused at three factories.
 
      
 
 
At Liverpool there was no major damage
